Program Overview 

This professional development programme supports educators, facilitators, trainers, and professionals who work with learners, teams, or groups to strengthen engagement, participation, and outcomes.

Participants develop literacy in the Universal Wellbeing Model, a research-grounded framework developed through 16 years of applied research. The programme equips professionals to respond to wellbeing and equity challenges with structured strategies rather than ad hoc solutions.

Participants will develop advanced communication capability, structured planning approaches, and applied strategies that support equitable outcomes across educational, organisational, and community environments.


Program Aim
 

The aim of this programme is to develop a deep understanding of the Universal Wellbeing Model and its components, including wellbeing dimensions, behavioural influences, and practical application within teaching and facilitation contexts.

Participants develop the capability to apply this knowledge in professional environments to support engagement, equity, participation, and learning outcomes.

Program Outcome

Graduates of this professional programme will be able to apply the Universal Wellbeing Model within teaching and facilitation environments and support equitable learning and engagement outcomes using structured, research-informed approaches.

What You’ll Learn

    Module 1: Universal Wellbeing Model (CUW)

    Facilitated Hours: 24 hours

    Homework Time Estimate: 36–46 hours

    Participants will develop a strong understanding of the Universal Wellbeing Model and learn how to apply its structure within professional teaching and facilitation contexts.

    Module 2: Equity-Supporting Teaching (CUWBT)

    Facilitated Hours: 16 hours

    Independent Study Estimate: 24–48 hours

    Participants will learn to design and implement teaching and facilitation approaches that support equity, engagement, and participation using Universal Wellbeing principles.

Entry Criteria

Entry to this programme is open to professionals who work with learners, teams, clients, or groups and wish to strengthen their capability to support engagement and outcomes.

All applicants will complete an enrolment form and may be invited to a brief professional conversation before their place is confirmed.

Participants must have access to a group, learners, clients, or teams where programme concepts can be applied in real-world practice.

Annual Program Start Dates 

Next Intake: April 2026

Places are limited to ensure quality facilitation and professional interaction.

Program Delivery

Total Program Duration: 100 hours

Delivery Format:

20-week programme
2 hours facilitated learning per week (online)
• Independent study and applied professional practice

Participants apply learning within their own professional environments throughout the programme.

Assessment

The programme includes two staged professional assessments.

Assessment One (Weeks 1–12)
Application of behaviour change strategies across the wellbeing dimensions.

Assessment Two (Weeks 13–20)
Implementation of Graham’s Teaching Conditions Theory with structured impact reporting and presentation.

Assessments are practice-based and professionally applied.
