About Us
The Free Research and Educational Equity Trust (Charitable) 50012761; NZBN 9429047723405 commenced their work in 28th August 2012 and further updated their purposes on the 3rd October 2019. The founding Trustees were inspired to begin the trust after receiving a donation supporting their work in Universal Wellbeing and the customization of learning to increase students achievement levels and subsequently measurably improve equity outcomes.
Purposes
The central purpose and role of “FREE Research and Educational Equity Trust” is to support, promote and implement Universal Declaration of Human Rights detailed by the United Nations on the 10th of December 1948 and any subsequent updates through charitable research and educational equity activities. The Trust will acquire and manage funding to support research and educational equity for the reasons above.
Activities of the Trust will conduct include:

Certificate in Pastoral Care & Universal Wellbeing Coordination (CPCUWC)
Advanced training in the design and leadership of system-level wellbeing strategies.
Suitable for senior professionals in education, health, social development, community or organisational leadership roles.
Intake dates: October 2025 and March 2026
Application deadline: 30 September 2025
A current or recent leadership or professional role in wellbeing, education, health, social policy, community, or organisational management.
Capacity to apply Universal Wellbeing frameworks at scale (institutional, community, or organisational impact).
Commitment to prevention-focussed approaches and evidence-informed practice.
Professional or academic references supporting their suitability.

The Free Research and Educational Equity (FREE) Trust invites applications for a limited number of full-tuition international scholarships to undertake professional level certificates with the FREEDOM Wellbeing Institute (FWI), New Zealand.
These awards are offered on a competitive basis to international professionals, researchers, community and senior leaders in education, health, government, and corporate sectors who are committed to advancing wellbeing evaluation, systemic leadership, and prevention-focused implementation strategies.
Scholarships are strictly limited and aimed at candidates who can implement the outcomes of these programmes at an institutional, organisational, community or national level.
Certificate in Universal Wellbeing Evaluation Facilitation (CUWEF)
Professional accreditation to administer, analyse, and report on the Universal Wellbeing Evaluation Tool (UWET).
Designed for academics, evaluation specialists, and practitioners seeking to embed rigorous wellbeing measurement frameworks in research and applied practice.

Obtain professional accreditation via the College of Professional Wellbeing Practitioners (CPUWP).
Gain expertise in applying the Universal Wellbeing Evaluation Tool (UWET) within academic, clinical, and organisational settings.
Strengthen their academic and professional standing through credentials underpinned by more than 16 years of research.
Enhance institutional capacity for prevention-first wellbeing systems.
Join an international network of accredited wellbeing professionals and researchers.

The scholarship provides full tuition fees for the selected programme (CUWEF or CPCUWC). Travel, accommodation, and personal costs are not covered.

Applications are assessed competitively on professional background, eligibility, and capacity to contribute to systemic change in wellbeing practice.

Programmes are delivered entirely online through live, interactive sessions, enabling participation from anywhere in the world.
