Program Aim

This program is for those with responsibility for achieving positive cross organizational wellbeing outcomes. This program is ideal for those with organizational responsibilities for pastoral care or wellbeing improvements, and outcomes. Achieve improved engagement, achievement, inclusion, retention, and equity levels and reduce absences, withdrawals, and resignations. Learn to implement the latest models, research, and wellbeing practices. Requires application of material facilitated to self and others in a chosen context overtime.

 

Program Outcome

Graduates of this professional program will be prepared to work in a diverse range of settings as professional Universal Wellbeing Coordinators.

 

Program Content

During the program understandings of the research-based Universal Wellbeing Model (UWM) are developed along with the capacity to conduct cross organizational employee/student/staff wellbeing needs analyses, create a wellbeing monitoring platform, make whole of school/workplace or organizational strategic wellbeing plans, implement wellbeing solutions, and measure outcomes whilst maintaining professional boundaries and own universal wellbeing. Program content is supported by current pastoral care and wellbeing research findings and professional conduct standards and boundaries, Professional Wellbeing Practitioner Guidelines, needs analyses, client evaluation, planning, implementation, monitoring, and measurement of universal wellbeing in diverse settings.

 

Standard Entry Criteria

Applicants must demonstrate a strong interest in working in professional wellbeing evaluation in an interview, and complete an enrollment form before their place may be confirmed in this Programme.

                                                                                                                                    Accelerated Entry Criteria:

                       Those eligible to apply are: NZCDI/FWI qualified Pastoral Care Program graduates and degree qualified and experienced Health Education, RTLBs, Teachers, Social Workers, Nurses,

                                                Nutritionists, Physiotherapists, SENCos, Evaluators, Counsellors Psychotherapists, Psychologist and Clinical Psychologist trained applicants. 

 

Annual Program Start Dates

Program start dates: February, April, July, and October of each year or as organized.

 

Standard Program Delivery:

This program is delivered via face to face or interactive online modes.   

4 hours a week for 20 weeks or via ten x 8 hours days

Options are discussed with enrollees.

 

Accelerated Programme Delivery & Summary of Modules:

                                                                                             This Programme is delivered via face to face or interactive online modes.  

                                                                                                   4 hours a week for 10 weeks or via five x 8 hour days(1 online).

                                                                                                                     Options are discussed with enrollees.
