Program Overview 

This program develops professional knowledge, communication skills, and practical capabilities to manage staff wellbeing in safe, ethical, and research-informed ways. Participants will learn how to apply the Universal Wellbeing Model, plan and manage wellbeing systems, support individual and team engagement, evaluate outcomes, and implement evidence-based wellbeing practices that improve achievement, productivity, and equity.

The program also includes the accreditation requirements for becoming a Professional Universal Wellbeing Manager, preparing graduates to manage organisational Universal Wellbeing systems with confidence and measurable impact.

Program Aim
 

The aim of this program is to equip individuals with the knowledge, skills, and professional attributes needed to manage and monitor staff wellbeing. Graduates will be prepared to support and guide individuals and teams, enhance wellbeing engagement, improve productivity, and strengthen achievement and equity outcomes across a working environment.

    Learn how to apply the Universal Wellbeing Model to understand, support, and monitor staff wellbeing in measurable and meaningful ways.

    Module 2: Wellbeing-Supporting Communication Skills (CUWM 1)

    Facilitated Hours: 12 hours
    Homework Time Estimate: 12–24 hours

    Develop essential communication skills for supporting individual staff and groups, including building trust, listening, advising, and guiding confident wellbeing conversations.

    Module 3: Managing Planning, Systems & Resources (CUWM 2)

    Learn how to plan, manage, and monitor Universal Wellbeing processes, systems, and resources that support staff engagement, achievement, and productivity.

    Explore evidence-based strategies to strengthen motivation, engagement, performance, and professional confidence across teams and individuals.

Entry Criteria

Entry is open to individuals who demonstrate a strong interest in professionally managing staff wellbeing. All applicants will complete an enrolment form and may be interviewed before their place is confirmed.

The programme includes developing:

  • Facilitation skills

  • Monitoring and risk management

  • Advice-giving and referring

  • Universal Wellbeing evaluation practices


Annual Program Start Dates 

Program start dates: March and July each year, or as organised.

Program Delivery
The Certificate in Universal Wellbeing Management offers flexible delivery options:

24-week course: 2 hours per week over 24 weeks

Custom delivery: As organised in consultation with enrolees
