Programme overview

The Certificate in Universal Wellbeing introduces the research-based Universal Wellbeing Model, including its sensory inputs, dimensions, variables and principles.

The programme supports individuals seeking to strengthen their own Universal Wellbeing, improve family wellbeing and apply evidence-based understanding in work or study settings.

What you will learn

  • Understand the five sensory inputs and six dimensions of Universal Wellbeing.

  • Explore the 70 variables that influence Universal Wellbeing.

  • Understand the five principles supporting Universal Wellbeing.

  • Identify strategies to improve personal, family and workplace wellbeing.

  • Apply reflective learning to support positive changes.

Programme structure and delivery

The programme includes six modules covering the dimensions of Universal Wellbeing.

Programme Modules

CUW 1 – Social Wellbeing

CUW 2 – Physical Wellbeing

CUW 3 – Intellectual Wellbeing

CUW 4 – Cultural Wellbeing

CUW 5 – Emotional Wellbeing

CUW 6 – Spiritual Wellbeing

Delivery is face-to-face or interactive online, with options of two hours per week over 12 weeks or four six-hour days, arranged with participants.
A reflective journal and learning activities form part of the programme.

Entry requirements

Open to individuals with a genuine interest in improving Universal Wellbeing in personal, family, work or study settings.
Applicants complete an enrolment form and may be interviewed before confirmation.

Universal Wellbeing Evaluation

Participants have the opportunity to undertake a Confidential Universal Wellbeing Evaluation as part of the programme, supporting reflection on their own Universal Wellbeing.

Fees and enrolment

Full Programme: NZ$1,000 (incl. GST)

Individual Module: NZ$300 (incl. GST)

Flexible Payment Options

Study from just NZ$38.46 per week!

Equivalent to spreading the NZ$1,000 programme fee over 26 weeks.

Actual payment plan: NZ$250 deposit, followed by six monthly payments of NZ$125. Total NZ$1,000 incl. GST.
