Programme overview
The Certificate in Universal Wellbeing Management develops the professional knowledge, communication skills and practical capabilities required to manage and support staff Universal Wellbeing.
Grounded in the research-based Universal Wellbeing Model, the programme focuses on improving staff engagement, achievement, productivity and equity through evidence-based management practices.
Participants develop capabilities in Universal Wellbeing planning, systems, evaluation, communication and strategies that strengthen employee motivation and organisational outcomes.

Programme structure and delivery
The programme includes four modules:
Code Module
CUW 1 Universal Wellbeing Model
CUWM 1 Wellbeing Supporting Communication Skills
CUWM 2 Managing Planning Systems & Resources
CUWM 3 Inspiring Staff Engagement & Productivity
Each module includes 12 facilitated hours and an estimated 12–24 hours of homework.
Delivery is face-to-face or interactive online, with options of two hours per week over 24 weeks or other schedules arranged in consultation with participants.
Participants must have access to a group of individuals to work with throughout the programme.
Entry requirements
Open to individuals who demonstrate a strong interest in positively managing staff Universal Wellbeing.
Applicants should have an interest in professional facilitation, monitoring, risk management, advice, referral and evaluation-related practices.
Applicants complete an enrolment form and may be interviewed before confirmation.
Professional accreditation
The programme includes accreditation requirements for the Professional Universal Wellbeing Manager, focusing on managing organisational Universal Wellbeing systems.
Fees and enrolment
Full Programme: NZ$4,000 (incl. GST)
Individual Module: NZ$1,000 (incl. GST)

Study from just NZ$153.85 per week!
Equivalent to spreading the NZ$4,000 programme fee over 26 weeks.
Actual payment plan: NZ$1,000 deposit, followed by six monthly payments of NZ$500. Total NZ$4,000 incl. GST.
