On the of 28th of December 2016, the FREEDOM Institute of Higher Education Board members hosted executives from Korea, they included Naomi, S. KIM the Manager of Customer Management Service Team, Angela, J. YOON, Manager of Media & Design Service Team, Rachel, S. YOO, the President, Eisen Shim, Director of HanKook DynaFuture, and Stella, Y. NAM the President, GreenStella Co. Ulsan, Korea.

The parties have agreed to further educational and health initiatives together for the betterment of people from both their countries.  Mr Shim leads the Green Medicine Association of New Zealand and Susan F. Stevenson, the Academic and Research President of the FREEDOM Institute of Higher Education, is the Education Director for the Association. The parties are endeavouring to pro-actively support well-being through natural and preventative medicine approaches in both countries.

The MOU further strengthens the cultural bridge the parties have been building between Korea and New Zealand over three years. The parties are working to initiate programmes to support their cultural, education and health objectives. Interested students from Korea will be able from April of this year to study about New Zealand, health and green medicine and English in a new initiative the partners are starting.
